- Tourist Visa (paid): The Saudi tourist visa allows Muslims to perform Umrah outside the Hajj season. This can be applied for online and is not free.
- Application Process for Transit Visa:
- Book a flight with a stopover in Saudi Arabia.
- During or after the booking, you can apply for a free transit visa through the airline’s website (like Saudia or Flynas).
- The visa may be granted for up to 96 hours (4 days).
- Once the visa is issued, you can use it to perform Umrah.
- Requirements:
- Valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.
- Confirmed flight ticket via a Saudi airline.
- Proof of accommodation during your stay (hotel booking in Makkah or Madinah).
- Travel insurance: This is often bundled into the visa package.
- Recent passport-sized photo in color.
